Activating Your System

The long-awaited moment is here. The design and installation process for your home solar power system have been successfully completed, and all the equipment has undergone thorough inspection by your local municipality. You are now prepared to activate your very own solar power system at home. However, before you can "flip the switch" and begin enjoying the benefits, there are a few crucial considerations that you should be aware of.

Getting Permission to Activate

In the solar power industry, there is a crucial final step that needs to be fulfilled before your home solar power system can be activated.

This step is known as "acquiring PTO," which stands for "Permission to Operate." Once your home solar power system has undergone inspection and received approval for usage, an application must be submitted to your local power company. Typically, each local power company has its own process for review and approval, but there is no need to be concerned. Greenleap will provide direct assistance in completing the application and ensuring the submission of all necessary documentation. You can rely on us to navigate this step smoothly and efficiently.

Final Inspection and Testing

As part of the process, your local power company will dispatch personnel to conduct a thorough inspection and testing of your home solar power system. This essential step ensures compliance with standard safety protocols. It is a routine procedure that every homeowner with a solar power system must undergo.

The inspection serves to verify the seamless and effective connection of your system to the power grid, ensuring there are no complications or technical concerns. We prioritize safety above all else, especially when it involves home electrical systems. Rest assured that this inspection is designed to guarantee a secure and reliable solar power integration for your home.
